Is your Heart Chakra Unaligned?
The word “chakra” means “disk” or “wheel” in Sanskrit. This is referring to the different energy centers in the body and each center corresponds to major organs and nerves in the body. To function optimally, these chakras need to stay balanced, but, because life is difficult and chaotic at times, sometimes they get blocked which can manifest emotionally or physically. Below we dive into specifically the Heart Chakra, what it is, and signs it could be out of alignment.

The Heart Chakra is the Fourth Chakra and is also known as Anahata. This chakra is, clearly, located in the chest, right where the heart lies. Anahata, in Sanskrit, means unbeaten or unhurt. This chakra is our center of love for ourselves and love for others. This is also the source of our empathy and forgiveness. The heart chakra is also linked to compassion, joy and unconditional love. This is also the chakra that bridges the gap between the upper and lower chakras. This chakra is represented by the color green, which is representative of transformation and loving vibes and energy.
